When you build a contractor profile on YouSuperIntendIT, you pick one of two tiers. Licensed Contractor, or Skilled Tradesperson.

Here is what each one means, and which one fits your business.

Licensed Contractor

This tier is for contractors who hold an active license from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB).

We check your license and show it on your profile. That way homeowners can see it is active and in good standing.

Licensed Contractors can take permitted work and bigger jobs.

The Licensed Contractor badge shows on your profile and in search results.

Skilled Tradesperson

This tier is for experienced tradespeople who do quality work on smaller jobs that do not need a license.

Handyman work. Landscaping. Painting. Tile. Fencing. Small repairs.

There is a huge market for skilled people who do this work well.

We never label you "unlicensed." The focus is on what you do and how well you do it. Not on what you do not have.

Which should you choose?

If you hold an active CSLB license, pick Licensed Contractor.

If you mostly do smaller jobs without permits, pick Skilled Tradesperson.

If you are not sure, you can change your tier any time.

The Real Estate Ready Tag

Both tiers can add the Real Estate Ready tag if they do pre-listing work.

It connects you with real estate agents whose clients need fast, reliable work before a home goes on the market.

That is repeat business.
